Although project management requires general management practices rather than expert knowledge, any lack of those professional competences can still cause failure of the project. During management of projects, it is an essential requirement to cover areas like time management, management of scope, costs, personnel, risks, communication and subcontractors. At the same time it is necessary to know how to integrate these areas for example into a project plan or change management. In the following analysis, you will verify to what extent your project management conforms, firstly to best practices collected for more than 50 years and, secondly, to international standards (PMBOK 3rd, IEEE Std 1490™-2003, ANSI 99-001-2004, ISO 10006 - with modified terminology).

Method of the analysis

You will be presented with a questionnaire in English with 40-50 multiple-choice questions. You can answer every question only once. You can leave the questionnaire at any time and return to it later by clicking the link you will receive by email. You will be presented always only with unanswered questions. After completing all answers, you will receive the analysis results containing quality indicators of quality phases and knowledge areas. You will also receive a customized list of corrective actions and improvements, which, after applying, will considerably lower the likelihood of your project to fail.

Every project has several basic phases - Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Administrative closure. Management activities in these phases have defined content and an order in which they should be performed. You will obtain a graphical representation of the phases and a calculation, to which extent you correctly cover them

Projects are multidisciplinary - for management, it is necessary to integrate management knowledge and performance in areas of time management, scope management, management of costs, personnel, communication, quality, risks and subcontracts. For each of these areas you will receive information about the level of coverage by your project management

Prioritized list of corrective actions and improvements

This is probably the best advantage of the analysis. Based on the analysis of your responses, it will be determined where the weak points in your project management are and where is the highest likelihood of occurence of serious or critical problems. You will be then suggested prioritized corrective actions and improvements, so the worst problems in your management will be addressed first. You can implement corrective actions by yourself or with the help of experienced professionals
